Counseling

The mission of your MES School Counseling Program is to support student “success”!  However, success is very personal and will be different for each child.  Whatever a need, whether your child could use a fuel bag (a bag of snacks for the weekend provided by Graceworks) or someone to check in with them to make sure all is ok, or you are not sure where to turn, please be sure to let me know.

I follow  two underlying principles to create a supportive and positive environment for success.  First, “everyone has the right to come to school and feel safe and respected”. It is important for all students to know they will be heard and be advocated for should a need arise.  Second,  “students are here to LEARN, LEARN, LEARN, and teachers are here to TEACH, TEACH, TEACH’!  It is important for us all to maximize the teaching and learning time, and I am here to help remove obstacles and barriers that can impede that.
