Jason A. Golden has joined Franklin Special District (FSD) as Associate Director of Schools for Finance, Administration, and Legal Services, bringing more than 30 years of combined experience in public school leadership and law, including two decades in senior school district administration.

The Franklin Special District (FSD) announces two new hires to its Central Office staff. Leslie Duke has joined the district as Human Resources Supervisor, and Shea Waldkirch as Accounting Coordinator.

This year’s TCAP results show FSD students performing above the Tennessee average in every tested subject area, with double-digit leads in English language arts, math, and social studies.

Franklin Special District has been awarded an additional $392,857 in state funding after Tennessee approved supplemental funding for its High Performing LEA Bonus program, bringing the district's total performance bonus for the year to $1 million.

As summer break begins, one of Franklin Special District’s most beloved classrooms is back on the road — the FSD Story Bus. The FSD Story Bus summer run is June 1 through July 24.
